MnUSA 2010 Scholarship Winners
MnUSA Awards Six Scholarships

The Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association (MnUSA) Scholarship Program was established to assist members and children of members in pursuing post-secondary education in college and vocational programs. MnUSA offers this program as an incentive to members to encourage them, or their children, in continuing their education.

Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee on the basis of their essay “What can my age group do to improve the quality of our snowmobile trail system?”, academic achievement, leadership, participation in school and community activities, work experience, and an outside appraisal. Applicants must be a MnUSA member in good standing for the past three years (if under 18 years of age this will include membership as a son, daughter or legal ward of a family having a current membership in MnUSA).

Funds for the scholarship program are provided by the Fund Raising Committee, through sources such as MnUSA’s raffle calendars. We are also proud to announce that the scholarship program will be continued in 2011 offering up to $3,000 in scholarships.  Details of the 2011 program will be announced after the first of the year with applications due by April 1, 2011.
