PO Box 190
Hamel, MN 55340
Located in NW Hennepin County, the Hamel Sno Runners have been in existence since 1968 and remain dedicated to the creation and maintenance of snowmobile trails in the cities of Hamel, Corcoran, Plymouth and Maple Grove.
As a member club of Northwest Trails Association (www.nwtrails.net), we assist with grooming their system and serve our host communities with Minnesota DNR approved youth snowmobile safety training programs, charitable donations, safety patrols and most importantly?GOOD, SAFE, FUN for our members and families. Family involvement is encouraged and we feel the future of snowmobiling depends on all snowmobilers working together to promote the sport.
We also plan club trips each year and many other informal gatherings where information about the sport and friendship are shared. Being a member of the Hamel Sno Runners is a way to promote safe, responsible snowmobiling as well as supporting a good trail system to snowmobile on. It's a great way to make some new friends and learn more about the sport we ALL enjoy.
Our dues include membership in MnUSA and the Northwest Trails Association. Membership is $30.00 per year for individual or family membership. A family membership includes a single person and one guest or a married couple and all children to age 18.
The membership fees are broken down as follows:
$5.00 to Hamel Sno Runners
$5.00 to Northwest Trails
$20.00 to MnUSA
We meet at 8PM the first Monday of each month (Sept-April) in the downstairs of the American Legion Post (lower level in back) Hamel, just South of Hwy 55 on Hamel Road.
Visitors are most welcome at our meetings. You must be a member to go on any club trips or outings. Just the act of joining is your way to support the local trails and ensure that the sport is not harmed by unfriendly laws. Participation in the club is always a fun and rewarding experience.
Please remember to:
