Established in 1969, The Itasca Driftskippers maintain and groom 72 plus miles of trails ranging from Grand Rapids to Hill City, Minnesota. Two Driftskippers trailside shelters are available for your use and pleasure. Grooming is done proudly with 2 Pisten Bulleys. One with an Arrowhead Ultra-8 1/2 groomer and the other with a Maxie groomer. The Skippers clubhouse is south of Grand Rapids on Hwy 169 is the home for our club meetings, youth/adult snowmobile satety training programs, groomer maintainence/operations, Adopt a Highway clean-up, and an annual Christmas party for the "Special Needs" children (started in 1972). Club meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the club house.
