Established in 1969, The Itasca Driftskippers maintain and groom 72 plus miles of trails ranging from Grand Rapids to Hill City, Minnesota. Two Driftskippers trailside shelters are available for your use and pleasure. Grooming is done proudly with 2 Pisten Bulleys. One with an Arrowhead Ultra-8 1/2 groomer and the other with a Maxie groomer. The Skippers clubhouse is south of Grand Rapids on Hwy 169 is the home for our club meetings, youth/adult snowmobile satety training programs, groomer maintainence/operations, Adopt a Highway clean-up, and an annual Christmas party for the "Special Needs" children (started in 1972). Club meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the club house.

Description: Snowmobile Safety Online - Field Day will be held on12/30/17 at the Itasca Driftskippers Snowmobile Club, 33455 Wagon Wheel CRT Rd., Grand Rapids. Class will begin at 8:30 am. Event: Snowmobile Safety Youth Online Field Day - Grand Rapids
Description: Itasca Driftskipper's Snowmobile Safety Youth Online Field Day will take place on December 29, 2018 at their Clubhouse, 33455 Wagon Wheel Ct. Rd., Grand Rapids. Class begins at 9:00am. Must be 11 years of age before class start date listed above in order to be eligible to take this class.
This safety class will have a C.O. visit and trail rule book instruction along with the field training.
We will do the final written test to all students who performed their on line class and brought there printed out certificate.

Registration will start at 8:15am. Student must have their (printed paper copy) of the online completion certificate to register for the Field Day Course Training/Completion. Conservation Officer Class starts at 9:00am. Field day test starts at approximately 10:00am. Finish time will depend on size of the class.
