*** 50+ YEARS *** The Lakeville Sno-Trackers Snowmobile Club has been in existence for over 50 years and serves the snowmobiling needs of western Dakota County. The Club marks and grooms over 50 miles of local trail, plus the cross-country ski trails for the City of Lakeville. We currently have over 120 family members, that meet the 3rd Monday each month from September till April at The Red Fox, 22815 Pillsbury Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044 in Lakeville. Description: Lakeville Sno Trackers' Snowmobile Safety Feld Day will be held on October 24th, 2022 at Lakeville South High School (room D202),
21135 Jacquard Ave. Lakeville, MN 55044. David Williams will lead class from 7:00 - 9:00 pm (review & quiz).

Field Day Test will be on December 10th Saturday at 9:00 am at the Lakeville Sno Trackers Barn, 9446 210th St. W

Event: Snowmobile Classroom Safety Training
Description: Are you a Minnesota resident and were you born after December 31, 1976? If yes, did you know that you need MN DNR Safety training to legally ride in Minnesota.

The Lakeville Sno-Trackers are committed to helping youth get involved in snowmobiling - Safely! Each year the Sno-Trackers provide training on behalf of the Minnesota DNR for Snowmobile Safety Training.


For the 2024/2025 season, we will be enrolling students that will be a minimum of 11 years of age by the time traditional class starts December 3, 2024

Classes will also require a Driver Performance session. December 14th, 2024.

We are offering two different types of training this season
1: Traditional Classroom: which consist of four nights / 2 hours each night.
2: On-Line Review and Quiz: which consist of one night 2 hour review, after completing the online course at snowmobilecourse.com. Fee for the course is $29.95

Once you student completes either the traditional classroom 4 nights or the on-line course and the two hour review then they will qualify to complete the Driver Performance.

Once you preregister for either type of training class, your student is automatically registered for the driver performance (Field Day) on December 14th

DNR Certified instructors will be conducting the training supported by members of the Lakeville SnoTrackers Snowmobile Club.

We will conduct our driver performance test December 14th, 2024 in Lakeville, MN

Fees:
A Total of $15 will be charged between the instructor’s materials fee and the DNR certificate fee.
