Maple Plain Snomads Mission Statement:
Our goal is to create new trails, reestablishing previously closed trails and promote safe snowmobiling while serving the communities of Independence and Maple Plain. Our club is proud to represent those responsible riders who respect Minnesota's environment, appreciate the rights of other riders, and interact courteously with motorists and private citizens.
Our Pledge:
Work with local landowners to provide designated routes for safe snowmobiling and encourage snowmobile operation on marked and accessible trails.
Promote courteous and responsible snowmobiling, and work with local officials to promote safe and lawful snowmobile operation.
Develop and maintain a safe and comprehensive system of trails linked to those in other communities to provide access to the statewide trail system.
Provide a social activity centered upon the sport of snowmobiling to the betterment of the community.
To act as a resource and distribution point for information and knowledge which furthers the safety of snowmobiling and for the safety of the public in general.
To develop a common appreciation, understanding, and knowledge of the sport of snowmobiling in the State of Minnesota.
