SnowSports Snowmobile Club is responsible for maintaining and grooming snowmobile trails in the Lewiston and Winona areas of southeast MN. The club also participates in youth snowmobile safety training and is a member of the MN United Snowmobile Association.
SnowSports Snowmobile Club meets the second Wednesday of the month September - April at the Rec Bar in Lewiston at 7pm.
New members are always welcome.

Q: How many miles of trail are marked and maintained by the Snowsports Snowmobile Club?
A: 75
Q: How many people brushed, mowed, installed gates and stake the trails?
A: 24 (That isn't very many for the number of miles we cover!!)
Q: How long does it take to brush, sign and prepare the trails before they are open?
A: Approximately 500 hours
Q: How long does it take to groom the trails?
A: It takes 30 hours to groom the entire trail
Q: How often are the trails groomed
A: We usually groom the trails 3 times per week
Q: How many people volunteer to groom?
A: 9
Q: How many landowners graciously allow us to use their land?
A: 131
Q: What Interaction is there with the landowners?
A: We talk to each of the landowners at least once a year to find out about trail changes and to make sure they do not have any concerns about our use of their land.
Q: Does the club do anything for the landowners?
A: We provide a gift certificate for a dinner out to each landowner to show our appreciation for the use of their land.
